So late in putting this up, but had to share my favorite new picture! Incredibly honored to have won a Planned Parenthood Maggie Award with some of my favorite women: Zerlina Maxwell, Janet Mock & Irin Carmon.

Felt bad about myself for a lil while, because sometimes I focus too much on the scales rather than my actual body progress! This is only 9 kilos (19lbs) difference (my beginning weight, not pictured, was 82kg or 180lbs). I know the photos aren’t super similar but the one on the left was the only one I had of me in bathers (I never wore bikinis before). 
Please don’t think I did this by obsessively ‘eating clean’ and living at the gym. I workout roughly four times a week, and I treat myself almost every day. I think a huge part of me losing weight and keeping it off despite, at times, having up to two months being ‘off track’ has been my shift in how I perceive my health. So yeah, a lil progress picture!
